An Honest Review of a Skipsian

I applied for MIT Pune, Delhi School of Management, Shanti Business School, Nirma University. The admission process at skips was to clear the CAT percentile, then there was a group discussion round, then there was a personal interview.

I chose Skips because it was providing dual specialization and also some of my seniors of engineering were studying in SKIPS and they had a really nice experience studying at SKIPS. There is 1 faculty mentor for every 10 students. Most of them are doctorates and they have a really7 nice teaching method. It was a case-based exam and it was testing all the concepts which were taught to us in college. The exams were as per the schedule.

There are companies from Finance, International Business, Marketing, HR which comes for internship. I got selected with Outlook Publishing India Pvt. Ltd. for Marketing Internship. I was offered a stipend of 10,000 per month. There were various project titles for us. I chose product and brand management as my topic. Despite Covid, each and every student was offered an internship in various reputed organizations.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are top corporates coming for placements. There are around 435 corporates till now that have offered jobs for the students of SKIPS. The average package is around 5 lacs and the maximum package is around 11 lacs. There are few students who opt-out of placements because of the family business and other issues. Rest the remaining all students are placed. I am looking for a nice corporate to start my journey.

The fees are quite nominal compared to the quality of education they are providing. I don't have any idea about the scholarship and all such things. The college is providing 100% placements. The internships were also provided to every student in the reputed organization by the placement committee in spite of covid-19.

The annual fees are around 2.2 lacs and there is a proper schedule was tech fest which is given during the induction program. There is a smartboard, AC, and CCTV and proper sitting arrangements for students. There are various activities like SRIJAN for Marketing, Finvest for Finance, Colloquium for industry awareness, Newspaper activities for current awareness and many other activities.

The topics of GD were related to general awareness and interview questions were related to the graduation background of the respective students. The process of admission was to clear the CAT or MAT percentile, then there was a GD, then there was a PI. I revised my graduation concepts and also studied general awareness.
