Remarks
To be eligible for admission to our college one needs to get through the process of REAP. You need to fill the REAP form and then based on your JEE score merit list is released. But an exceptional case occurred due to pandemic, our merit list was based on 12th marks. For the leftover seats, the direct admission process is also there where the students can directly apply for the seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it has always been my interest. The faculty here is very supportive although some teachers are just doing their job forsake, in total, maximum of them are really good at teaching. Being a government college, the faculty here no doubt is well qualified. As our college is affiliated with BTU, University exams are held under it. The level of exams are moderate, but marking is harsh. We also have timely tut classes where our doubts are being cleared.
Internships Opportunities
There is an industrial program that occurs in the mid of 3rd and 4th year where students usually work as an intern in the field of their interest. Our college also organises some industrial visits as it is really important for us to get exposed to the latest industries.
Placement Experience
Placements here are average. Most placement starts from the 5th semester. You getting a placement totally depends on your skills and knowledge. Some companies where students of our college were recruited in past are Infosys, Wipro, bosch, meta cube etc. Apart from this, students appearing for the gate are also provided with GATE Training by TEQIP faculties. Most of the placements are from CSE and IT departments. If you do not get campus placement or you are overqualified, you can also apply for off-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here are very low and affordable as compared to other private engineering colleges. There are two types of seats available for admission: GAS and SFS. Fees of the GAS seat is very low, about 18,000 per annum whereas SFS seat's fees are a bit high. There are also various scholarships available which one can apply for. Some of them are Siemen, Sumadha, NSP scholarship. NOTE: GAS seat is not available for all branches.
Campus Life
Campus life here is really enthusiastic and lively. Meeting with students from all over the country helps us to gain new experiences. I would like to mention that the library is the best part of our college, and personally my favourite place. You can peacefully study and prepare for your exams. Books for competitive exams are also available. The book issuing process is also very easy. One thing that I really like about our college is that various programmes, events and competitions are held here which improves our skills. We also have an annual event called TRANGINI. Unfortunately, it lacks in sports activities, there are only a few sports available which includes NCC, volleyball. There are also various active clubs like cybersecurity club, literary club etc.
