Best B-school -[BIITM], Bhubaneswar

I applied only for this college as I was fascinated by the reviews I received from my few alumni and I also visited the campus and loved the atmosphere. There is a quota available as well. For admission, one must appear OJEE entrance examination and gain at least qualifying marks. In addition to that: 12th board marks must be above 50% for the general category and for SC, ST, and OBC marks should be more than 40%. You must then apply online form through the website of the government or contact the college directly. Then based on merit the seats will be filled up and allowed online only. Then if selected, you will be called by the college for admission and filling of formalities. You will be asked for 10th and 12th mark sheets and college transfer certificates from your previous colleges and then after the payment of admission fees (which is a part of the whole fee structure), your seat will be confirmed.

The course was new and lucrative. Rather than doing BBA and MBA separately from different colleges, it is a better option to choose an integrated course as the learning and experience curve is higher and the curriculum is deep. The faculty: student ratio is 1:40. All the faculties are at least Ph.D. qualified or pursuing their Ph.D. They all have teaching and corporate experience ranging from 8-25 years. The teaching method is the point that stands out. the teaching includes all kinds of activities and practical and theory experience. The exams are held very timely and delay is nearly never seen. There is not going to be any difficulty in passing them as the teachers and management ensure that the students are well prepared.

Various companies visit the college for ample offers. The internship ranges from 15 days to 3 months duration depending upon the job requirement. A few of the companies are Flipkart, Sundaram Finance, Blitz jobs, etc. Usually, the companies offer stipends of around 3000 per month based on the work done. The internships are a complete blend of practical experience trained and worked. The faculties also help us in times of difficulties. The internships are based on specialization- HR, Finance, Marketing, or Operations or Research.

The placements are the best highlight of the college. Out of the 10 semesters, from the 9thsemester, students are eligible for placements. Some of the common companies are: ICICI Bank, Ultratech Cement, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Byju's, Reliance retail, Jaguar, Aditya Birla Retail, Flipkart, and 45 others. A total offers of 175 were made. Highest package- 12 lakhs CTC from Bjyus. Average package- 5 lakhs CTC from Flipkart, Asian Paints. The placement percentage is above 95%. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement from the college.

The fee structure for the 5years is 3.22 lakhs. With and fee hike policy of 5-10% depending on situations if required. The fee is divided on a semester basis. There is a scholarship opportunity if you secure above 9 CGPA in any year. Financial assistance is also provided based on loans. I have done 2 internships through college and received a stipend of around 3000 per month. The average campus job offers ranges from 5-7 lakhs per annum.

A total of 3 fests are organized every year. 1. Graduate Meet in the month of January 2. B-Fest in the month of February 3. Annual Function in the month of March. The library is full of books, no complaint about that.In addition to that it also includes the facility of e-journal whose access is given to everyone. The classes are well furnished with ACs, projectors and the classrooms are big and spacious as well. The college focuses on extracurricular and sports activities equally. the college organizes badminton and cricket tournaments both inter-college and inter-college. Usually these events are held in the month of December. The college also has 4 clubs based on specialization-HR, Finance, Marketing, IT and Operations.
