Remarks

In Dev Samaj College the process was very easy, just fill the form and you will get admission on the basis of your 12th percentage. I also applied for Panjab University. But I was not able to crack the CET. I have not availed of any quota for admission. There were no bars of age and about the marks, the student must have passed her 12th with good marks.

I chose this course as I have a great interest in teaching. The faculty members were good. In my class, the ratio of faculty: student was 1:80. Some faculty members were PhD scholars and some were postgraduates. The teaching method was very good as there are good labs and apparatus for the practical work. There were class tests and mid-semester exams. Before every semester exam, there were midterms. The difficulty level used to be moderate.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around 30000 per semester plus the examination fees. Scholarships on the basis of position in the university and on a minority basis were there. Financial Assistance is provided to students who are not able to pay the full fee.

Campus Life

Youth festival was conducted every year and it was conducted in November-December. There were a lot of books and journals in the library. There were a lot of sports activities and NCC club was there where intersected students can take part in that.

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .
