Remarks

The reason I went to this college was that I had thorough research on the internet and with my friends regarding the selection of college and in the end, I decided to get myself admitted to Jaipuria. I also had a word with some of the students who were already studying here in this college and they told me about the academics standard of this college. First gave my MAT exam then after the results I tried to contact the college's admission team. They asked me whether I have given the name of the college in the preference list or not so I said I have given then they told me the process. The reason why I would choose this college over others is that this college has some great standards which are seen rarely in any college be it their exams, academics or placements. Their facilities like library, a hostel or even mess.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The reason I chose this course was that I already have completed BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and I wanted to study all the courses on a basic level in my PGDM so in spite of going for courses like PGDM in retail management or in financial services I chose PGDM general. The faculty student ratio in this program would be 1:35 this is an approximate figure as this could vary in some classes. The faculty members are Ph. D holders mostly and also they have very good teaching skills to keep the students engaged throughout the class. We have our end term exams after every trimester the level of question paper is good and one needs to study for clearing the exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There was an ample number of internships for every single candidate to choose from. The companies that participated in giving the intership opportunities were ITC, HUL, Khaitan, Axis bank, HDFC bank, big bazaar, shoppes stop, tata, aptech and many more, the companies were offring stipend in several cases also the companies were told to give the work in online mode.

Placement Experience

4

From the 5th trimester onward a student is eligible to appear for campus placements around 92% of students are placed this year in some of the top and most reputed companies of the county and abroad as well. My plans after taking my degree are to serve a reputed company and learn as many skills and as much knowledge as possible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

As the fees of JIM is Rs. 1020000 which comes up to Rs. 510000 per year as there will be six instalments to be paid through online mode or through DD. The accounts department is very cooperative and they will be ready to help the candidates at any time. There will also be a security fee deposit of Rs. 10000 which is refundable. The scholarship is given to candidates who have scored 85 percentile and above in CAT along with that there is a scholarship by the name Sibling scholarship of Rs. 50000. Even in the tough times of Covid-19 all of us have been placed in the companies for our SIPs. The CMC department is very cooperative when it comes to job assistance and career guidance.

Campus Life

4

These are the times of pandemic so most of our classes were done online then too when I visited college there is a very green and healthy environment also there are proper seating arrangements with air conditioning in classrooms. There is an auditorium that is nothing less than a proper theatre with high class standards of light and sound. There was a cultural fest held by the name Ojas and an annual sports event by the name Mashaal. The committees which are there in the college are the cultural committee, sports committee, placement committee, discipline committee and academics committee.

Interview Experience

4.5

The topic of GD was mostly related to current events and to name a few the first would be required of new IITs and Government medical colleges in our country second would be India's new education policy and third was should there be more stringent laws for careless or rash driving. When it comes to admission the candidate has to appear in a management college entrance exam such as MAT, CAT, NMAT etc based on which the candidate has to show his or her percentile in the college admission cell post which if there will be vacant seats available the candidate will be contacted. Then the candidate has to appear for GD then PI in a rigorous way. For this, I prepared by practising at home and with my friends on phone and also revised what I studied at graduation.

Admission:

Admissions are granted on the basis of the counselling process organized by AKTU University. Anyone with a relevant grade. The degree can apply for the program. The entire admission process was smooth enough. Though I had to wait a lot for the release of the merit list, which might take a toll.

The positive aspects of a college are large library, classrooms, computer labs, seminar Auditorium, gym, cafeteria, student care cell which help all of the students to increase the confidence. Also, transport facilities, Railway concession, and medical facilities are a big attraction for our college.

Remarks:

The worst thing about this college is its management. The college management entirely functions as a typical 'Sarkari Karmachalaya' or Government office. If you really want to get your career in the Business Administration you may choose MBA from some other private institution as the amount of freedom any other college will give is not given by this college at all.
