Hi, I'm an engineering student currently pursuing engineering at Velalar college of Engineering and Technology, Thindal, Erode. When I got finished my 12th standard in 2018, I was highly confused about choosing my career. Then I decided to choose my career in engineering. As same as the doubts all we have is, which is the best college for my marks and my future career. As same as I too have all of those doubts and finally concluded to choose this college by few things I have mentioned below. 1.This college is an AICTE approved college. 2.This college has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade certification. 3.This College has top 5 courses with NBA certification. (CSE, BME, ECE, EEE, B. tech -IT) 4.Mainly this college has a very low fees structure that everyone can afford it. While choosing this college I also check the activities of the clubs in this college from their official college website ->velalarengg.ac.in. Admissions in this college done by counselling method.

I've chosen the computer science and engineering course in this college because the future is going to happen only in digital mode as we are facing in corona situation. This college has an excellent faculty student system and here you'll find 1 faculty per 10 students. All faculty are M.E graduates and half of them are doctorates in their domains. Their teaching methods are completely practical with regular training and practices. So that you can learn anything easily. This college is the autonomous mode, so the exams were quite normal to get passed and if you are an outstanding student you can get higher grades too. Semester exams are conducted in the time span of six months. Before that same as all college, you have 3 continuous assessment tests and one remedial tests for your internal marks. Which will be conducted at an interval of a month.

From the 6th semester students are getting trained for the campus, from the 7th semester they'll get companies on campus There are a lot of companies on the recruitment board of college which you can find from their college website velalarengg.ac.in There is 85 percent of students are gets placed in campus placements. Once I got my degree I have planned to pursue my postgraduate abroad.

The fee structure of this college is very low than any other college in this surroundings with this high quality of education. While coming into fees structure if you are coming through the counselling by Tamilnadu state government you will have the fee structure as below. For admission paying 5000 as the initial payment is enough. 1st year-40,000 (from this 5000 will be reduced as u have paid for the counselling fee). 2nd year-40, 000. 3rd year-40, 000. 4th year-40, 000. In this, if you are joining hostel you'll be charged 50,000 extra per year This college provides lots of scholarship program to promote the student's education such as 1.Aachi masala scholarship program. 2.Velalar college golden Jubilee scholarship program. 3.if you have any other possible scholarships that also will be accepted here. Campus jobs of this college are good with their recruitment board they are providing nearly 85 percent of placement every year. They also arrange off-campus placements for big companies like TC.

There are no exclusive annual functions conducted by the college. All functions and other events are conducted by the students guided by the responding staffs of the club. Each and every month there'll be a function in every department. It has a vast library on the campus which of open for everyone without any charges. The library will be opened from 7 A.M to 7 PM. In the classroom, you are not allowed to use the Mobile's unless you are instructed by faculty. Coming to sports college sports team structure is okay with some demerits. Clubs of the college are the main resources, they're working with vision and mission with a big target. Some of the clubs of college were Magnum opus -cse Mechzeal for mechanical Rotract club, NSS, NCC and more and more clubs are in departments.

Once you are putting admission and get a seat in college you'll ask for your mode of stay or transport. If you need a hostel facility you can get admission to the hostel. In the hostel, you'll be provided rooms with 5 beds or 4 beds one writing desk one normal desk 2 chairs per room there are no Cupboards only a shelf will be provided. The meals of the hostel were extremely good in quality, they have a high class kitchen on campus which will provide food like home. (Only veg) There are PG and rooms are also available outside the College you can afford that also.
