Remarks

There is a lot of scope to enhance your skills. There is a huge library in the college it is one of its best in the whole state of A.P college management is very helpful.

Entrance Preview

I have written GAT which is a separate examination for Gitam i have scored 98 in the examination. It is for a total of 300 marks i have opted for CSE as it is one of the best courses offered in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It follows courses following to the industry requirements. It trains students in a manner that they are ready to face the industry tight away.

Placement Experience

Nearly 1000 students are placed in different Mnc's. Mass recruiters like, Tcs -3.4 lpa, Accenture -3.15 lpa, Wipro - 2.8-3.3 lpa, Delloitte - 5.4 lpa Amazon - 16 lpa, Mu sigma - 16 lakhs for 3 years.

College Events

We have a major event named GUSAC - GITAM UNIVERSITY SCIENCE AND ACTIVITY CENTRE. Students from all over the state as well as all over the country come and participate in this event. It is a mix of all the technical cultural and management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a bit expensive at present the B.Tech fee is Rs.2,04,000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

You will be awarded a scholarship of 10K per semester if your among the top 10 students in the branch. But there are many conditions for applying that scholarship. your parents annual income should be less than 2lpa.

Campus Life

There will be an approximate of 1:2 ratio of girls and boys. There are many student activity clubs and also cultural activity clubs like Kalakrithi.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good the food is also very tasty and also hygienic. You will be having 2,3 and 4 sharing rooms with all non A.C rooms.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

I didn't have any interaction with the alumni so I can't describe much about this field.

Exam Structure

We have 8 semesters 2 semesters per year and we have 2 mid exams before each exam.

Faculty

Most of the faculty are Ph.D and some if them are M.tech qualified. They are ready to teach any course in which they have perfect knowledge.

Eligibility of the course : Any life sciences degree with a 3 year completed course from a well renowned college or university. We can find the application form from GITAM E-site, and the admission fee is 1000 to 1100/- cost. The application dates are open up to July. As I am a general category student, I am not aware of those reservation benefits. If EWS certificate is provided as per that joining year, it may avails some reservation.
