Remarks
I wanted a degree course that's the only reason for selecting this college. Anyone can get admission if they have any knowledge about music production. My friend recommended it to me. I wouldn't recommend this college to anyone if they seriously wanna learn audio engineering, I'd say learn online or go to some sound guy and become an intern.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty has done a diploma and they are teaching for a degree course. I wanted a degree course and that's the only reason for selecting this college. 1:60, but around 10 guys left the course. Exams were easy and needed almost no study to pass. Exams were conducted with a short notice of 2-3 days usually. Sometimes they tell 1 week prior.
Placement Experience
To sit in placements you need to have 80-85% attendance and you should've scored more than 65%. Very few sit in the placements, few companies are nice and popular which offer a good salary. I'll either be an intern somewhere or I'll go to Europe to pursue a master's in sound engineering as there is no college in India that offers a master's in this course.
Fees and Financial Aid
2,40,000 is the seamedu fees, 10,000 is the college fees, Exam fees is 2500 per semester. You need to get 80-85% to apply for a scholarship. College won't let us sit for placement until our attendance is 80-85% and marks above 65%.
Campus Life
No fest, no availability of any book till date in college. Just a Mac lab with softwares and a mid-budget studio. Few group activities used to happen in 1st sem and later they didn't organize any. Covid happened
Interview Experience
Students have to create a video of them doing any sound-related activity, it can be djing, production, live sound, etc. Then a faculty person will ask few questions and then it's done, nothing hard. They will take anyone who can pay the fees.
