I wrote TANCET exam , and i got good score (35th rank from overall tamilnadu), its a very good collage that i heard so selected it.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my collage, course structure and assessment structures following by them is awesome and cant find in any other collages , i really enjoyed and was responsible for collage and my carrier, they will never give a stress to u, but u will automatically grow by the environment that u get in inside the campus.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah i got internship in my collage itself, they haven't provide any stipend amount, but they have setup the good environment to do our works good.

Placement Experience

100 percentage job offers confirm. from my class 54 got placed out of 60 students, and considerable thing is that each students got placed in 2,3,4 companies its a great placement hunter collage. no one will without a job offer.

Faculty

Faculties are the strength of the collages, all the faculties are great scholars and great knowledged and each department has a minimum 5 PHD scholars and all the faculties are good with students, and they knows well how to handle the students. and they maintaining the good relationship with students.

ALL NAME NO WORK

Likes

The whole environment is pretty nice in the campus. The campus itself is pretty huge and there is so many place where we can sit and relax.
The teacher are friendly and easiy to approach for most of the times.
The cafe is also nice and is pretty affordable. It is clean too.

Dislikes

They have some nonsensical rules in the college. Some of the rules doesn't even make any sense.
The college doesn't follow a proper schedule and the time table is just for show.
There is still a problem for many stuffs if a girl and boy sit together and talk.

Placement Experience:

The college website shows the various placement opportunity the college offers and there are many great opportunities that our seniors got into. about 176 well known IT companies comes to this college for placement.

Downs!

Likes

Computer science lab was so big and it looks good
The green grass in the ground gives a positive mind
Main Library was too good and so calm so that we can spend peaceful time

Dislikes

Restrooms are not clean for a single day
More than 4 street dogs are roaming in the campus
During admission they said many placement companies will come but it was a lie

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took MCA to get placed into IT companies . The subjects in the MCA is very interesting but the students who studied UG course and then the pg course also in the same college then it is totally waste because they are studying the same subject again. Very bad thing is that in this college they are providing the same subjects and same syllabus for UG and PG students there is nothing different. But i have studies ug in other clg so for me it is different so i managed and it is interesting

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Based on the merit the under graduate and the post graduate admissions are done.

Good education.

Remarks:

I am MCA student. Before two days I research on government school or private school. According to my information, in study point of view, private schools are good but fees point of view are not good because poor families cannot pay money for private facilities. According to my information, other facilities point of view private institutions good compare to government institution.

PSG Institute of Management 21-23, in a nutshell

So basically PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu is one of the best institutes facilitating management graduates. The subjects have been tailored according to the current trend and corporate exposure. In order to get into PSGIM (degree awarded by Anna University) there are two ways: through TANCET (i.e. an exam similar to CAT, exclusively for Business Schools in Tamilnadu) and the MAT (Management Aptitude Test which comes under the management vertical). So an eligible student through TANCET should score above the 98 percentile in order to secure admission at PSGIM and a student through MAT should score above 600 (composite score). Apart from this PSGIM offers courses affiliated with reputed foreign universities like Leeds Beckett University, University of Toledo, etc. Students are eligible to apply for these courses if they attempt the MAT exam and score above 550 (composite score)...Read More
