Remarks

I don't have any bad remarks but yes, if I had an opportunity to be a part of it in any way, I would not stay behind. You never know the kind of learning, fun, exposure you gain, with that. I learn till now, and will continue to learn something or the other, till I can. My extrovert and open nature, my outspoken personality (though little) has come only during those 2 years. Before that I was very reserved, calm and bookworm.

Entrance Preview

MAT, 700+. Xavier VJIM (then), was and I believe is, at present, at the TOP, in Autonomous Institutions in this region.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

However, Practical Research was good, at that time, might have improved with time. Exposure and Experience was worth, engaging in competitions, organising Chrysalis, IIMB-Unmaad-2005, etc. all were really beneficial, Overall, it was the best choice of my life. Want to relive those 2 years.

Internships Opportunities

Lucky to have good companies and with good package i did at Kotak Securities, and hired in 2005 itself. Stipend was 20k approx, actually, they made me permanent, and gave salary instead of stipend.

Placement Experience

4

Sorry, I don't remember much, after so many years. But still, I know, there were companies like HDFC, KOTAK, Virinchi Technologies, etc and many many more and also the package was good for a fresher. Being a fresher, its profile and work experience that matters, not salary/package. Learning should be priority, not money. Once you have good experience, money follows.

College Events

4.5

Chrysalis, Sports and many many more they are very good and involve everyone. It's fun to be a part of all this apart from above, they get to participate in various other events and college meets in city and outstation. So thats a great exposure as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure, then was feasible enough it was worth and I feel ROI was within 2 years. At present, I have no idea about it however, compared to other private institutions, it shall be very reasonable. The trust or Managing committee is working for its betterment and with good motive, and not to earn huge profits and make crores of money.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not sure, but maybe scholarship is available so sorry, I will be unable to give much input on this aspect.

Campus Life

4

I think some part has already been mentioned in one of the above Qs. Well, gender ratio or cultural activities, or whatever you talk about everything was good and I hope that at present, it has become better and enlarged. The entire environment is supportive, motivating, involving and fun.

Hostel Facilities

4

How can I say about hostel, as it was not there, that time however, canteen was there, which was good. Miss the samosa and other snacks. And in group, you always enjoy the celebrations - be it birthday or some achievement or anything just need a reason to party.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes I am still a part of it and in regular touch in the private group of alumni regular updates from the concerned representatives and the space from college are very active.

Exam Structure

It was chilled out, except sometimes when you aren't prepared well for exam. You sweat or are upset and so difficult to find anything chilled. Well, the infrastructure has always been very good, and nearby our residential area. Now it has moved and become a huge campus, and that's really awesome.

Faculty

4.5

Highly qualified and experienced faculty, always there to nurture, mentor, support and guide in any way possible, Visiting faculty was also great. I'm still in touch of 1-2 of them wish to meet everyone someday, and refresh the memories.

Students would be eligible for campus placements from 2nd year only We get internships from first year only hut most ofbthem are online and don't seem to be that effective for a student and moreover all are unpaid. There are nearly 15-20 companies visiting the campus Highest package could be of 6-7 lks and average could be of 3 lkhs Plans after my degree would be getting a job in campus placements or try off campus The percentage of students getting placed in campus placements would be 40-45%
