My learning experience

There are many reasons behind choosing for this college the most important reason is affordable fees structure, amazing reviews about this college, its reputation, placements (the placement is not as it was expected) etc. The admission process starts from April every year and on a basis first come first serve basis. 1. Fill the form online/offline. 2. Clear a small interview with the admission cell. 3. Documents verification. 4. Clear the required fees.

The faculty members of this college are well qualified, all the professors are dedicated to their work and teach us everything thing that is required for our overall growth. The faculty and student ratio is 20:80. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with is called the External examination. Internal examinations are assignments and projects given by the related faculty.

Our college offers internships in fields like designing, merchandising etc. in various companies like export houses, buying houses, designing houses etc. Students get to learn a lot by exploring according to their interests and enhances their skills and knowledge. Various projects and tasks are assigned by the companies to the interns according to their fields.

The placement is good (can do better) in the college. The students become eligible for internships and getting placed in after completing the last semester. The students get placed in various well-known companies which are H&M, Clavin Klein, Pepperfry, Sabyasachi, Tommy Hilfiger etc. The highest package is 6.25 LPA and the average is package is 4 LPA approx. 40%-50% of students get placement from college. I am very grateful to this college for giving me a chance to sharpen my skills in the fashion design field, and my plans after this course are to get placed in these companies to get some real-life experience.

The fees structure of this college is affordable. The fees for PGFD in very low as compare to other colleges. The available mode of payment of the fees is Online/Offline. One can make payment instalments also. An amount may be charged for the Soft-wears that the college will be providing. Other than that no extra amount is charged.

The annual fest that is conducted by the college is the JD ANNUAL FASHION AWARDS (TFA). The participants are all the students of Jd institute (From all the branches). It is compulsory to participate in the annual award as students are getting marked on the basis of their performance in the show. The library is also there in college where all the related book is available. The class has all the required facilities like Blackboard, A/C, Proper lights, fans, table chairs etc. Labs are loaded with all the proper facilities. The college takes care of cleanliness and sanitisation. The college has various societies as extracurricular activities like fashion society, dance society, music society etc.
