Remarks

Being a residential college, it was a learning experience to stay and attend lectures there. Group projects, presentations, academic mentor and sports is what I found a good combination for a college. The admission process didn't take much time and soon the academic session had started. Used college review sites and the alumnae before taking admission into the session.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were mentor-mentee sessions wherein about 12-15 students from a batch had the same mentor. Apart from academic doubts we can discuss our problems with our mentors and take proper guidance from them. The student-teacher ratio in a particular batch was about 40:1. All the faculties were PhD holders with a great research background. We had trimester exams in a year.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Students have the opportunity to have 2 internships during their academic year - summer and winter internship. Winter internship is one month and winter internships being of two months. Both the internships are without stipend.

Placement Experience

3

In the 4th trimester, the students become eligible for placements. Various companies visited the campus and they made various offers. The highest package offered was INR ten lakhs. Almost all the batch got placed during the placement season.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the program is pretty high as compared to other PG colleges and there is some sort of scholarships for students. There were scholarships based on academic merits and on the basis of caste you are coming from.

Campus Life

4

We had an annual fest in the college which was a two days fest. It included various activities on the first day and a concert by a singer the next day. There were all the journals available in the library for students to access.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There were two and three seater rooms available for students. The food quality in the canteen and mess was good. The registration process for the hostel and mess took half a day and had the same formalities as the hostel.

Interview Experience

3.5

There was a GD that happened before the admission. The topic was a situational dilemma in an organization for which an appropriate decision had to be taken. After the GD there was a PI with a faculty of the college.

Admission:

There was no entrance exam conducted, it was done on the direct admission process. It was like a first come first serve policy. I went to college and had some counseling from them and then I was explained about the fees and courses. I submitted the required documents and submitted a form and then my admission is granted.
