Remarks

Being the pampered child, my parents did not want me to go out of the state for pursuing my Post Graduation and thus, the full throttle search for the best college began and I landed up in JIM. Although, when I got admitted in JIM it was relatively new but was already beating it's all the competitors in the region. There were certain other factors as well that we considered:Affordable fee structure.Homely EnvironmentUpdated Curriculum and exposure on professional front.Well equipped Library and proper mentoringNearness to the hometown.In- Campus facilities. My campus was a residential Campus and we had proper housekeeping, mess and Canteen facilities.Approachable pedagogy24*7 staff support

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The best part about any and every PGDM providing institute is that the Course Curriculum in updated every year and at times every trimester. JIM was no different, it had a very updated Course Curriculum and added new subjects in almost every new trimester. Also, the faculties there believed in giving the practical exposure to the students. For this they ensured that we had proper field visits and proper understanding of the industry. There were regular guest sessions taken up by the industry experts in order to keep us up and close with the current market trends and trigger the curiosity in us.The faculties were so friendly that we could easily walk up to them even for discussing the problems related to our personal lives. Yes, Personal lives!!!

Placement Experience

3

The campus conducts the Un-Campus drives. There are 4 campuses of JIM; Lucknow(the main branch), Noida, Jiapur and Indore. The Un-Campus is the special privilege which is enjoyed by the students across all the 4 campuses, i.e. appearing for the campus drives irrespective of their Campus. For eg, a student of Indore and appear for the Company that is conducting it;s campus drive in Lucknow and so on. This gives them an opportunity to apply for as many companies as they want. At JIM, we follow Un-Campus program, this basically is student exchange program where students spend 3-6 months in other campuses to pursue their academics. Not a compulsion but a choice. This gives an opportunity to interact with the students of other campuses and have better ties.

College Events

5

Campus life is just amazing. There are various clubs and committees fully operated and controlled by the students thus giving them the proper exposure. Starting from the media club to the finance club to the HR club to the Mess Committee. There were national level competitions held in order to develop the entrepreneurial side in the students which always witnessed mass participation from the colleges across the state and the country. Along with this, we had a regular exposure to the jib scenes with the help of Live- Projects from the big giants of the market like Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Airtel, Trip Advisor, Grofers etc. Also, the student run bodies got a chance to showcase their work to the college faculty and management and we were rewarded too for the same.

Campus Life

5

The infrastructure was best in class. We had and access to free wi-Fi round the clock. They were a dedicated team set up in the campus to help us with any and every IT related issue. Library: The library was equipped with all the latest editions of the books, research papers and newspapers. Along with this we had a separate recreational corner. The library could easily accommodate around 100 people at once.We had a lush green Campus fully secured with the CCTVs and guards at every nook and corner. A separate basketball court, Volleyball Court and football field.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes, I opted for the hostel room. The rooms were provided on the sharing basis. Initially there were just 2 students in one room and later on after I completed my degree, the plan was tweaked and now, 3 people share a single room. The rooms are very spacious and are well equipped with the fixtures and furniture. 24*7 running hot waterProper Housekeeping for cleaning the room daily.CCTV Cameras to ensure safety, so even if you forget to lock your room, you can be tension free. There was a 24*7 female guard in the girls hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as quite relevant and well-structured. Most subjects are updated according to current industry needs. The faculty also puts effort into explaining topics with practical examples instead of just theory which I genuinely appreciate for there hard work The curriculum covers both core concepts and modern technologies which actually helps in preparing for internships and further needs and i choose Artificial intelligence because it is latest and the future is in ai and everyone somewhere related to artificial intelligence and so i decided this course for my furture safe and good future
