ARUMUGASIVAGNANAM M's Review On National Engineering College - [NEC], Thoothukkudi

In the South Side of Tamilnadu, the topmost college is the national engineering college. Most of my relatives are referred to this college. The course offered by this college is awesome. Faculty members are also very good. I entered this college through TNEA counseling mode so all the admission process is only online mode. The detailed admission process is released by our Tamilnadu government. Why I choose this college over others because it is very near to my home the transportation very easy for me and most of the top companies are come to this college for placement activities and college infrastructure also very nice in this college. Free wifi, canteen, lab facilities faculty members, placement activities, Most of the software license has got from my college so I can use original software from the source. I didn't read any blog for choosen this college. I know this college is best for my carrier.

Most of the Faculty finished Ph. D in their respective subjects. Why I chose this stream means I'm very much interested in the electronics core field so I chose this stream. The faculty and student ratio of my class is 15:1 it may differ from stream to stream My institutions are autonomous so all the passing system very different from anna university it's not much difficulty in passing the exam all are based relative grading system

Yes, our college producing internship offers for all the eligible students. My college has partnerships with Internshala and most of the internship producing companies. We can go to some other company internship is also acceptable. Our college is ready to produce on duty internship activities upto 30 days

Most of the top companies come to our college for placement activities. My college was producing 85% placements for every academic year. From the 7th semester onward students are eligible for placement activities.TCS, CTS, ZOHO, EMBED UR, DATTA PATTERNS, TESSOLVE, MISTRAL, CADENCE total 100+ companies are visiting our college every year both core and software companies.

All the government scholarship was applicable in this college. For government quota, the fee structure is 70,000 per year for management quota it may differ. I got my first graduation scholarship from our government So my fees are only 45000 per academic year. Hostel fess is 22000 per year

There are many clubs are available in our college. Like NSS, NEC ECO clu and many others all the clubs have Inguaral function weekly meeting all re happens, Then coming to technical club IEE, IE, ISOI, etc in this club also weekly meetings has a happening number of webinars are conducted. Then coming to sports all the sports equipment was available. Coaches also available. We can use any sports equipment at the respective time.

There are two hostels for gents and one for ladies. For gents hostel 1,3 persons per room, each student has separate Bed, table and chair and one safety cupboard also given to the students. Free WiFi is also available 2hrs in the hostel. Meal quality is extremely awesome both veg and nonveg are available. Registration process also very simple

I have entered this college through the Tamilnadu government counseling process. So I didn't face any of these kinds of rounds. For the management round, there is an entrance exam conducted by our institution. It's not much more difficult all the questions are from 11th and 12th standard basics and some verbals so it's easy to crack this exam. There is no group discussion round for my college
