Remarks
Good Aspects: Faculties are friendly, you can ask your doubts anytime. Co-curricular activities happen at least intervals. Bad Aspects: Staffs and management committee is not so punctual and friendly. There is a proper notice or regular updates about what's going on in college. In case if you want to know about something you have to go to college. For admission, you have to fill the form. There will be an entrance test. The test level is not so hard. Usually, admission starts in mid June. This college was nearby my home and it was easy to attend classes and reach college in time. Neither my marks were good nor I belonged to any rich family. So I preferred this college. I searched many colleges nearby me and my locality on Collegedunia.com and also researched about this college on its official website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had a soft corner for new technologies and wanted to learn more about computer software and to continue my career in this line. There are nearly 50-55 faculties and nearly 10000 students. So you yourself can imagine how low the faculty: students ratio will be. Faculties have very good qualifications except for some. Their teaching methods are also exceptional. Some teachers just come into class give lectures, make sure you have notes and that's it. Term exams usually happen timely. The level of question papers are above average but they will be conceptual. So if you have your concepts clear, you don't need to worry.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies offer on campus internships based on your merit like Wipro, TCS, ion, etc. In the final year. But you can apply for off campus internships like Ecoin, IMUN, etc, online. And for that you don't need to wait for the final year, some companies offer internships in mid course too.
Placement Experience
From the final year, I.e., the third year, they are eligible for Campus placements. Many companies like HCL, Lenovo, Wipro, etc visit college. The highest package offered in on campus placement was 8 LPA and the average package was 4 LPA. Only 35-40% of students get on campus placements and for that, you must have good academics and also they will check your co-curricular activities. You can take off campus placement to have a more good package. I have planned to give the GATE exam after graduation and have MCA in any good college in Delhi.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
As the college is governmental, fees are very low. In my batch,i.e., 2019 the course fees was 11000 rupees per year but in 2020 it increased to 20000 per year. So you can witness that there is a great hike in fees. Governmental scholarships are provided in which your admission fees will be refunded on a merit basis,i.e., your academic marks.
Campus Life
The annual function happens yearly on the foundation day of college in the month of February. A variety of books are available in the library. Most of the books are of the old edition. They need to be renewed. Classrooms are big and can accommodate the whole class still there will be nearly 10 benches empty. Smartboards are available in the classrooms. Many sports competition, like the 100 m race, slow cycle race, kabaddi, etc., happens on Sports day. Co curricular activities are always arranged at regular intervals by the management committee like poetry, debate, singing, dancing competitions. National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps. (NCC) and Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) are the social groups available in the college. Many functions are organised by these groups. You can take part in different roles in them.
