Entrance Preview

It was through management quota. As far I know no entrance examination is required to get admitted at CMS.For courses like MCA and MBA likely to be some entrance exams or appearance in CAT/MAT is required. I'm not so sure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Syllabus for BSc CS was pretty good and simple. They didn't make us study all those outdated programming languages or history of computers instead, it was the trending subjects that time. And syllabus was also short and crisp. Since college is an autonomous one there will be a periodic update in syllabus according to technology trends.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about that. Must do some investigation to find it out. As far I know there is nothing like that. It is an arts and science college.

Placement Experience

It is all well and good. Almost all good reputed MNC's visited our college/ called us for recruit drive during my tenure at there. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, UST global, Sutherland, Wipro InfoTech, Biocon etc were the major ones.

Exam Structure

Exams schedule will be informed during the starting of semester itself and always there wouldn't be any changes in that. For CS and BCA labs were good enough. There used to be minimum two days gap between each exams so will get enough rest and time to prepare for eams

Faculty

All faculties were highly qualified and experienced. They all had good teaching skills too. They were approachable too. Continuous support and encouragement were given to improve our learning skills. Apart from the syllabus, they focused on the practicality of the subject too. I was fully satisfied with the teachers that time we had.

The college provides the best placements for students but that depends on their CGPA's The students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th year of college They even offer placements in TATA ,and other Many more prestiged companies Only on basis of good grades and overall extracurricular activities of the students The highest package offered is 1-2 lacs per annum and minimums package is 6-7 lacs per annum I plan on continuing my studies even after degree to acquire PhD Doing PhD is more valuable in a course like biotechnology But it is up to you to choose what you want Whether to go for jobs directly or do something research and get the deserving benefits
