Remarks
I choose to attend this college because of the opportunities available on campus. Bennett University also has one of the most tailored courses for streams that give you an edge over other students. The admission process is simple, you submit your application before the due date and within 3 to 4 weeks you get your provisional offer letter, following with you have to pay the fees at the allotted timeline and then come for registration on campus. The reason I preferred this university over other colleges is that this is a student-run university and all and any initiatives by students are welcome. All staff members, faculties, and other administration members are extremely helpful. Most importantly, the infrastructure is well maintained surrounded by the university green initiative.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it is perfectly tailored to the need of the hour and aligned with the prospects of the job market. The faculty to student ratio remains at 40 students to 1 faculty but it isn't like the school. Everyone is respectful and gets individual attention in the class. The faculty is extremely qualified and comes only from premier institutes like IIM, IIT, NIT, BITS, and in many cases from abroad as well. Exams are scheduled very timely and the process is extremely smooth as well. You can easily score more in the papers just by attending the class and listening to the faculty. The course is application-based so, in-classroom real-life learning takes place and the person who is attentive can easily expect a score of 80% and above.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement right in their 5th semester for a 3-year course and 7th semester in case of a 4-year course. The companies that have visited the campus are Zomato, LIDO, Deshaw, JARO, and others. The highest package is around 10,00,000 and while the lowest is around 3, almost all students get placed (those who want to) and the rest of them go for higher education or start their own businesses. My plans after completing my degree are to go to Canada, I have already gotten admission to HUMER College for Global business management for fall 2021.
Campus Life
The annual fest and the tech fest is something that students prepare and wait eagerly for, there are so many amazing artists that come on campus and the party keeps happening right till 1 am (yes, with the security and support staff being present). It is on a grand level and one of the most amazing nights on the campus. The library is well equipped and is head by an amazing librarian who is certified by Harvard University. The amenities in the classroom are like no other, the classrooms have projectors, boards, foldable chairs, a clean environment, large windows, centralized airconditioning, and much more. Sports has a different complex in the campus which is equipped with badminton, indoor and outdoor basketball court, swimming pool, gym, a large football ground and a large badminton ground which also has provisions for volleyball and much more. There are more than 13 social clubs that are entirely run by students and all of the clubs keep having various events to engage people.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are small but comfortable, they are clean and have common rooms as well which are equipped with sofa's, tv, study centres, foosball and much more. The quality of the food is also unparalleled and it is amazing to know that every day there is a new sweet dish! The registration for the hostel happens during the final registration itself, where your credentials are check and then you are allotted a room. The room that you are allotted is someone from your batch and class only so, it becomes easier to settle in. The location of the hostel is inside the campus itself.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a Group Discussion but that was to gauge the level of the incoming students. For the Personal Interview, a lot of questions about your stream were asked and why do you think Bennett University fits in your plan of making your career in the said field. The panellists were extremely understanding and did not rush the process, they even gave feedback on how to improve your performance during GD/PI sessions. I personally, did not prepare for these rounds because it all has to do with why you want to take admission into a particular university and I feel this is something a student already knows and does not need to prepare for it. The sessions for GD/PI are generally so if you have good knowledge about your industry or study field you are good to go.
