Entrance Preview

I gave lots of examinations but i have selected through UPSEE as far as my score has been concerned i don't remember it,I opt this college because I heard one of my friend he was also pursuing from the same college,he said fees was less and good placements were there so you can opt it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is managed by uttar pradesh technical university it's a static course where you study a few concept, learn them and then write them in the written exam.Not much emphasis on practical learning and innovation not much options for electives as well.

Internships Opportunities

I don't think they provide stipend, till the time i was learning and enrolled they were not providing internship and stipend.

Placement was good infact i was the one who got placed in 3 companies for which i am very thankful. Vishveshwarya Institute of Engineering & Technology, under Shrinath Trust was established in the year 2000 to impart quality higher education. The institute runs under Vishveshwarya group of institutions.

Department of Civil engineering, Department of Information Technology, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
