Bcz, this course is first of the kind in India and this invents the engineering aspects in fisheries field. I like to join in bio course. So, I used to join in this course. In this we are well versed in engineering, science, fisheries, extension, processing, aquaculture, nautical, biology ans so on.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very good, In this we have 2 Department. Department of fisheries engineering, Department of basic science. We have 2 semester per year, a total of 8 semesters. Faculties ratio in our college is 4:1. 4 students per teacher. In our course syllabus, we have 5 units per subject and total of 8 subjects per semester (approximately). Yes, we have enough industrial exposure as we have implants training for 1 month and ravae program for 1 month and ALL INDIA TOUR for 1 month and weekly twice a visit in all semester. Faculties are very good and they were in friendly approach. All are Phd scholar. DR. Kesavan is well versed in science and good.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, we have one month intership on fish processing plant and one month training in aquaculture pond and one month training in ALL INDIA TOUR and weekly 2 visits in all semester.
Placement Experience
Placement in the fish processing plants and water quality labs and aquaculture pond. Avanthi foods is the major company repurted our students. And these placement is done by the college itself. Our college has the placement committee consists of college faculty members and separate blocks is allocated for placement. Funds has been given by the government for placement training. Placement training is given for every weeks.
College Events
We have students association with general secretary, joint secretary, hostel secretary, mess secretary, sports secretary, fine arts secretary, science secretary, literary club secretary, eco club secretary, blood donation club section, editor secretary, photographer secretary. And these secretary responsible for respective clubs. And several days as college day, hostel day, science day, engineering day, fisheries day, eco club day, blood donation day, sports day, inter college function as COFIESTA and editor day.

Hostel Facilities
Yes, we have hostel facilities. The hostel facility is well furnished and good. Hostel have seperate rooms and 3 persons per room, for these 3 persons 3 bed, 3 cub boards, 3 table and 3 chair and separate bathroom for 3 persons. Gym is provided in hostel. And very well water facility and good mess.
