CHERUB EBENEZER's Review On Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), Namakkal

The main factor that made me choose this college is, it has a very good infrastructure and a pleasant place to study. The staffs here are very much experienced in the subjects and the college has produced a lot of opportunities for placements.

The syllabus was updated last year and we were not provided with industrial exposure since we are in the second year of our course. The faculties are very much experienced and have a vast knowledge of the subject. They are ever ready to help us in times of need.

The placement opportunities provided here is absolutely fantastic. They provide here training session before attending an interview. Tech Mahindra, Microsoft,Google, TCS, Birla Soft, Cognizant Technology Solutions, HCL, Infosys Technologies etc are the companies that visit here. Every year 90% of the students get placed.

Our college events are the highlights for any student who studies here or who even completed their studies. There are lots of events which takes place. The most important to mention is ASTRA - an intra collegiate event. This happens for two days in the even semester. Mostly all students participate in this mega event and there are 30+ events. There are also symposiums and seminars conducted.

Our campus infrastructure is maintained very neatly. The workers here clean the campus often. To talk about our sports facilities, Our college has won 5 times Championship Award for Inter college competition from Anna University. Students are not allowed to use Mobile phones on campus. We are allowed to use only in our break times. Our Library is very useful for us to learn more about our subject and can accommodate more than 70+ students. Equipments in the laboratories are all new. They clean every equipment after we use 3 to 4 times.

The criteria is to pass in HSC examination or its equivalent exam from Tamil Nadu Government. Another criteria is also to apply through TNEA.
