Remarks :
Rajagiri College excel in its academics but the college vibe is very low in. The campus life is very simple and not active much when we compare tp other colleges. But the prestige of the college is very high, once a Rajagirian is always a Rajagirian. The college name itself a brand name and is awarded as one of the best college in India.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bachelors of social work is the course for which Rajagiri College famous for. The course curriculum is very good and implemented in an effective way. Academics are in high standard. The college was awarded the 3rd position. Faculties are very friendly, at some points partiality are shown to some students. We can trust our faculties and express our emotions anf feelings whether it is personal or not. They will be always with us.
Placement Experience :
There are campus placements for other courses in the college but not for BSW course. Most of the students try to attain the Masters degree. Some of the students may take a break or go for work. The college refers usbto various job vacancies in and around the college. Otherwise the student itself need to find the job.
College Events :
Life at campus is not very great compared to other colleges. We have got social life but in a restricted manner. Splendore is the annual fest conduct every year for colleges and schools it is a nation wide fest. Rajagiri is famous for its library, it is four floors. Library is filled with various books, dissertations and so on. Classrooms are vey neat those have a standard. The infrastructure of the college is very nice and the supplies of every classroom have a quality check.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Compared to other courses, BSW has low fee. 48,000 per year. The hostel fees are very high in the college. Scholarships cam be availed. BSW has got minimum campus jobs in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
College has got 2 hostels; new and old. The new hostel is the best one, it has got every facility we could dream of WiFi, heaters, coolers and so on. The rooms depends on the students intrest. There are 2, 4, 7 shared rooms. The menu is also a catchy one. It has got different food in each day. The food is better compared to other colleges hostel food.
Admission :
Interview was the major component in the selection. The attitude and other skills are evaluated through the training. The student will be asked about the previous institutions, the current affairs and they also assess oir knowledge about the course we opted to.
