I was searching for a college that offered the ACCA course in Kerala, however, there were not many in Kerala that offered ACCA course. The few that did have it did not have as great a reputation as Rajagiri. I also chose Rajagiri because of the 9 paper exemption which were offered by little to no colleges in India. I have also applied for Christ University, Kristu Jayanti, and St. Joseph which were all in bangalore. I did not get confirmed admission from Christ university. I didn't choose Kristu Jayanti or St. Joseph because it was not optimal for transport. I got rejected from Christ because i failed the entrance exam for that college. There were rumours about the cutoff percentage in rajagiri being 90, however that is not true, there are students studying in Rajagiri that got well below 90. After the board exam of the 12th grade, I immediately did a research on good colleges. My focus was inside Kerala itself as it is more convinient. I applied to St. Berchmans College Changanassery, Sacred Heatrts College Thevara and Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. I attended the orientation session organised by Rajagiri college and I was quite impressed. By the grace of God, I got accepted by all of them. Out of the colleges I applied, I was keenly interested and looking forward for the offer letter from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. The reason is that by my research, I had found out that it was the best college in Kerala for B.com degree. It even competed with the colleges outside Kerala. Moreover, it had good ranks and national accreditations. With few suggestions from relatives, I also came to know that Sacred Hearts was also a good college. I was a little confused while picking up my college. I accepted the offer letter from Rajagiri and went to the college for admission process at the date as per mentioned in the offer letter. I submitted the necessary documents and left. Later on I changed my mind and attended the admission process at Sacred Heart. At last, I changed my mind again and joined Rajagiri college which I think was the best decision I ever made in my life. The admission process was simple. We had to submit the necessary documents like 10th and 12th grade mark sheets, medical certificate, birth certificate, etc. Then we had interview with the faculty. Eligibility was 95% and above for class XII when I got into the college. I got in through the general category. Registration at Rajagiri begins quite early and you need to keep visiting your profile often to know the updates. Application fee was fair. The admission procedure was made through online. There is no entrance test for admission, but the student must secure atleast 90 in their 12 board exams. After applying, if you got in to the college you get a confirmation mail from the college along with the fees details....Read More
