Remarks

The place I would remember to my life where I have earned a few good friends and teachers to share my life with.

Entrance Preview

Studied diploma in mechanical engineering and had an opportunity to choose the college as part of merit quota wanted to choose a college which is not well known to prove education matters not banner.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure what is choose was Anna University based hence it was among the best in the industry as the structure is well known through out the world for its knowledge base, focus on research was not given a major priority as we had a project that was done in a company for a good exposure on that aspect.

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn't offer internship, had an opportunity to work in an inplant training about ship building, it was quite knowledgable to attain such info.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement was quite good some companies like satyam Sutherland TCS, TVS, where part of the placement, got placed In a couple of companies wherethe average salary that was offered were within 3 lakhs per annum, large mncs were not part of this as our college was at its initial stats, it was appreciable that infosys was part of placememt.

College Events

1.5

Management festivals were Lin muted to annual days and farewell other than that, the cultural days and sport days were enjoyed to the core, it was interesting college and it was good for a startup at that now they would have improvised on that I guess.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I was enrolled under government quota fee was quite nominally which was affordable to an extent for my parents, some times we happend to take loans, other than that the labs fee and other payable were slightly costly compared to the standard of the equipments which was there in lab and classes.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't offer scholarship, but I have availed government scholarship, which was delivered to us without any problem, that was good effort and would appreciate on the same.

Campus Life

1

Gender ratio was okay, student dorms were below average, workshops where conducted once in a while, have involved in any diversity of races and religion wise it was quite fair, economic status sometimes quite harsh as the rich kids were treated better, quality would be par or below standards.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Food was average nothing more than that, the morning break fast had the regular South Indian food, quality offered could have been much better for the fee they collect other, lunch was fine and dinner was pretty okay, I would definitely advice the management to work on that aspect to encourage people in staying in hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors where in touch few of my friends got referred and placed in some companies because of them that was quite helpful and our own batch were helpful to each other.

Exam Structure

Labs were around 3-4 in a semester people couldn't relate to the practicality of the experiments during that time, exam structure was quite hectic at times as we faced heavy rains during our course exams were postponed and many were held together back to back which was intolerable at times, normal time were good and a cake wall.

Admission

I have got the administration from dme counseling paid a part amount of the govt approved structure fee and administration accepted the same and paid the rest of the fee while joining, and the transition was quite good people and interactive and principal was as usually bossy.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty were a lot of freshers and tenured quite good and some where average, but the knowledge posted by some of the freshers where quite astonishing considering they were out the last batch, some of the tenured staff preferred teaching the legacy way not adopting to new methods which was some time annoying, practicals should have been more often.

Placement Experience:

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
