Remarks

The college was way cheaper and near my home. However, due to unavailable of teacher, it took a huge toll on students. Any student will get immediate admission if preferred. The landmark is advantageous as it locates near the highway. Please visit indoasianacademy.com for more information.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The institution provides various courses. I opted B.A. Political Science as I wanted to gain more knowledge in that field. The number of students was very less in number. Per 1 teacher there would be hardly 9 or 10 students. Faculty are well experienced in there subject but they do not stay long. After a semester most of them leave college. For the term exams, the college gives its utmost priority in it. And it is very easy to pass than fail.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college offers various internships both on and off college. Since I took Journalism, Political Science and Optional English as main paper, I got internships from a Freelancer, Professional Photographer, Political Party etc. Another department to has their internship ready from many Companies. The internship differs from one to another. Some will pay and others don't. A student can complete up to 2 Internship in a semester. With the intern certificate, it becomes very easy during the placement from college.

Placement Experience

4

Students are considered eligible for campus placements from 5th Sem. Many companies visit every year providing placement. Companies like Tata Consultancy, 24/7, Private Banks etc have offered every year. In order to get selected in the job, students require to get atleast 70 and above percent overall. These companies take 5-7 students every year from college. 15% of the total students got placed in these companies every year. Since I planned to complete a Doctorate Degree, I will continue to study in my hometown.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is less as compared to other institutions. However, with the atmosphere I experience, it is very high. The college does not increase the amount every semester. They keep a fixed rate for every semester. The college itself provides a scholarship for caste students. They also bring an opportunity to provide loans to the poor student at zero interest.

Campus Life

4

The college held occasions like Annual Fest, Fresher's Meet, Cultural Fest, Annual Sports Meet, Annual National Conference and so on. The college is the perfect place for socialization. The college also provides the facility of NSS, Annual Blood Donation Campaign etc. Every Department conducts its own Seminars, Workshops, Quiz etc every week. The College provides a medium size Library. It is not well equipped but it is enough for students. Classrooms are provided with Fans, desk and bench, Whiteboard and windows. The college held Annual Sport Meet at the end of the year. Many students compete in it. Every semester a field trip is a must for every department. It also provides seminars, conferences, workshops from professionals. The college has a student's union, an anti-ragging cell, and some other organizations.

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd year, you are offered the option to register for placements. Various companies like Goldman Sachs, EY and NGOs like TeachForIndia visit the college yearly for placements. I am not very aware of the placement scenario in the college as I am planning on pursuing my masters immediately after college and hence, am not looking to get placed. The placement cell in the college is very functional however, and give time-to-time updates about placements and internship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Psychology course curriculum is great. It's interesting and informational and you also get practical learning Optional English i regret choosing because it's not what i expected it to be. There's a lot of reading to be done and you have to be regular. the teachers don't really do a good job of making the subject interesting. there's 2 sets of exams mid sem is 25 marks end sem is 60 difficulty level - easy-medium

Majorly form third semester, students are meant to primarily focused upon placements. Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, Infotech, Infosys, and more than 300 gratified companies comes each year in intervals for recruitment. Various packages will be offered to students starting from 10 lakh per annum to 50 lakhs per annum. Nearly 50-60% students get placements there. And i m opting for higher education hence I would not be focused on placements much.
