Remarks

Overall the college is very good and one must choose this college if they are looking for supportive faculties, practical learning, workshops, and personality development.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

More than theory classes we had more practical classes. It was very easy to understand the concepts and perform well in the exams. Along with the syllabus the Institute used to provide extra skill training programs. These training programs helped 95% of students to get placements in top companies.

Placement Experience

5

During the placements, many companies visited our college and almost 90% of students got placements. The companies that visited our college are IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, HCL, RMZ infinity, Concentrix, Fidelity, AXA technologies shared services, etc.

College Events

4.5

Along with the usual events like singing, dancing, paintings we had more interesting events like a treasure hunt, IT product development, marketing and selling, Short Film making, Cooking without fire, IT quiz and many more were conducted, Few science Exhibitions, Grand Freshers day, Annual day and farewell day celebrations are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The few for our course was very reasonable and quite less than compared to many top colleges. Management used to collect fees for each semester(6 months) and they did not collect any additional fees. Management collects the same fee from all and the fee can be paid either by cash or cheque.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for SC/ST and only Girl Child can be availed by showing their certificates. Education loan is easily available in many banks for students with less interest.

Campus Life

4.5

This Institute gave us an opportunity to learn many things and showcase our talents, not only in studies even in extracurricular activities. The faculties encouraged students to participate in all the events conducted in the college. I and my friends enjoyed a lot of the events.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

This college has four hostels 1.5km away from the campus, two for boys and two for girls with all facilities like 3 times food, single bed, individual study table separate bathroom for each room and playroom and mini theatre. Management will give the hostel seats for 400 students, if the hostel seats are filled the students has many PG's nearby the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni and senior students are very friendly are caring. They shared the notes, books, and projects. They are still in touch with the current batch of students to share their experience and knowledge. Some seniors even helped financially to few students. One of my alumni helped me and my friend in getting a job in a good company.

Admission

One of my friends told me that this Institute has many facilities along with Good teaching, practical training, Good infrastructure. I went for admission, the management collected my documents and called me for an interview. The staff is very polite and friendly.

Faculty

5

All faculties are well qualified and many have industrial experience. The faculties are very friendly and knowledgeable. Faculties support students and a lot in extracurricular activities also. Even the faculties used to have some training programs to gain more knowledge.

I would like to tell that syllabus and curriculum they have is student friendly and doesn't give much pressure or torcher to students. Even this follows in the labs where labs are well equipped. I feel a bit less focus on industrial applications

Placement Experience:

We do have campus placements in our college. From 5th sem everybody is eligible to appear for campus placements. As far as I know there were Walmart,Paycheck, aceture, sony and many more. Almost about 30 to 50 students from each department get selected in placements. Not really sure about the percentage but somewhere in 60/100. My plans after the degree is to clear SSB or do my MCA .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for BSc is simply the extended version of 11th and 12th standard portions in the first year. It includes the same concepts and the teaching method is rather ordinary and boring and doesn't seem to focus on making the students live the subject but is rather focussed on marks and other upcoming exams. A teacher kept insisting us to do certain problems skipping the others considering the factory that it is very important for a exam after UG. She also stated that everyone are most likely to take up teaching as a job after this which shows how narrow minded and shallow the opinions and minds of the teachers are. This amounts for a greater level of discouragement.
