GACC, sangli college for BCA students

I choose to attend this college as recommended by my friends. My college has a clean environment and disciplined behaviour of students. College department is little smaller compared to other colleges and also library facilities are not up to mark. Admission is taken directly without any merit process in the month of June to July. This college location is near a bus stand which makes it easy to travel and attend classes also teachers are wise behaviour towards students which makes it a reason to prefer this college over others. Searching on Google for colleges with BCA course this college was on the top list thus I joined it.

I choosed BCA as a always wanted to learn to program and wanted to be a programme developer and program tester. College only allows 80 students to take admission for BCA course in an academic year. Teaching method includes both onboard and on a computer with highly educated teachers faculty. Exams are divided into six semesters, two semesters in an academic year and are an average difficult to pass. First years exams paper is scheduled by the college, from second year onwards exam papers are sent by University.

After the completion of 6th semester means getting a degree we can apply for the campus selection. Infosys, TDS these companies offers campus selection yearly. 5 out of 50 are selected on an average basis. After Completing degree I will apply for post-graduation.

Fees for the course for an academic year is 16800 which can be paid half on admission time and remaining on the exam time or can be fully paid at once. No scholarship is available. Campus selection is done after passing the degree. On the basis of interview.

All the exams are conducted for semester 1st in the month of October to November. The 2nd-semester exam is conducted In the month of April to May. There are lots of books available in the library which can be issued by showing library card, 1 book can be issued at a time for a time period of one week. Kabaddi and other sports are available in the campus for BCA student and also NCC is available every Sunday for the selected students. There is no social group or club run by the student in the college.

There is no GD, interview questions or test pattern for admission. Admission is directly given when paying the fees. Criteria for admission do not have 50+ percentage in 12th broad. I direct went to the college with my all documents scan Xerox copy to take admission by paying fees.
