It is one of the best in the medical field due to a lot of patients who comes here. Here the professors are all among the best ones. Their clinical skills are one of the reasons that students from all over Gujarat like to get a seat here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as normally found in medical colleges. The faculty in each department is more than sufficient. Their teaching approach is much useful as in like their ppt presentation. And practical teachings via various other practical approaches. Term exams are a bit harder than university. But it's good and help in getting a good score and knowledge also.
Placement Experience
Students have to do an internship for a year in college. After that most of them opt for further pg studies. Or else they can do their practice on own. And before that to complete the bond they have to serve in a rural area for a year or then can let go of the bond.
Fees and Financial Aid
Now after new guidelines the fee is 25000 per semester. And various scholarships are also there. Students can get them by taking part in various quizzes and exams conducted at state or national level.
Campus Life
Every year in May there is bj beats. The library is great here. Availability of book is not at all the problem. There is a badminton court here. Other things like table tennis, carrom, chess are also there. Various clubs like dance, poetry, drama, quiz and others are active under the students of respective years.
