I chose Lachoo Memorial College for MSc Mathematics over other colleges like JNVU, MGSU, and UNIRAJ due to its structured curriculum, smoother admission process, and accessibility. Being in Jodhpur, it offers convenience and a disciplined academic environment. Unlike government universities, which often have higher cutoffs and slower admission processes, Lachoo provides a more streamlined experience. I applied to JNVU but couldn’t secure admission due to high merit-based cutoffs and limited seats. Central universities like BHU and DU were also competitive, requiring strong entrance exam scores, which I couldn’t achieve. Reservation policies further reduced available seats for general category students. Lachoo College’s admission process is merit-based, requiring a BSc in Mathematics with at least 50% marks. The preferred admission criteria are graduation marks, with cutoffs typically ranging above 55%-60% for general category students. Reserved categories receive some relaxation. Admission is done via an online or offline application, document submission, and fee payment. Lachoo stood out for its quicker administrative process, structured academics, and accessibility compared to state universities. I applied in jai narayan vyas university in jodhpur and i selected in that college based on 12th board percentage. But further i moved in lachoo memorial college because there is semester system whereas in jai narayan vyas university has annual exam system, which i felt that semester system is easy to pass.
