Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is content, but when contextualized, it comes alive for students. The role of teachers in the curriculum process is to help students develop an engaged relationship with the content. . Teachers build lessons that include simulations, experiments, case studies, and activities to deliver the curriculum.

College Events

3.5

Having been in the organizing team of Spring Fest, MJR college at piler social and cultural fest, I think I'm in a fairly good position to answer this one. It isn't an exaggeration to say that the planning begins atleast 9 months before the fest. Usually, for the fest in mid-January, the seeds are sown a few weeks after the college elections of the previous year which happens around mid-March. As far as the composition is concerned, there are usually 20 third year students who comprise the core team, which is headed by 2 General Secretaries (who are voted in said elections) and 4 sub-teams, viz. Events, Sponsorship, Publicity and Finance. Each team consists of 5-6 students (with finance consisting of 2) which functions almost like a separate unit in itself. Apart from this, there are dedicated design and web teams which assist in making the website as well as various publicity-related designs. We also have one or more of the 20 core team heads taking on an additional responsibility of media publicity, printing, design and web coordinator, overall events coordinator, etc. Apart from this there are around 25 second year students, the core team 'members' who assist the heads in each of these domains, and are selected in August. We also have about 15 Associate Publicity Members (1st year students) who go to different colleges across the country in the December vacations to publicize the fest, and volunteers who provide the manpower required to organize various events during the four days. This in essence is the organizational composition of the team. Also, the organizing heads of the previous year's fest take the role of Steering Committee members in the next year's edition and are involved in the all-important crowd management among other things

Hostel Facilities

The answers here have well described the conditions of the hostel rooms near Ace Hyderabad. Still, let me add my comments.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni can play an active role in voluntary programs like mentoring students in their areas of expertise. They also play a significant role in contributing scholarships to deserving students. Alumni get in touch with students and share their expertise and best practices in a given field

Admission

choose to go to a large university because I like being part of a diverse student body. The world is a big place, and I thought attending a big school would better prepare me for life in the real world. My university has a very strong school of sciences, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country.

Faculty

2.5

Candidates with research experience will also be given relaxation for JRF up to the time spent on research in the relevant field of post-graduation course. LLM degree holders are also given relaxation Competition is fierce, and even if they are highly talented with plenty of experience, finding a permanent university job can be difficult. Lecturers might have to take on temporary contracts

The curriculum played a big role in my decision to choose this course. What attracted me most was: The balance between core subjects and electives, which allowed flexibility.
