Smt Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh was established in the year 1987. Right after its establishment, the Bar Council of India recognized the college as the ‘model law college’ in the state. The college is affiliated to the prestigious Acharya Nagarjuna University. It has also been granted permanent recognition by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the BCI. The college provides both three and five-year LLB programs. It is situated on a campus spread over 11 acres of land and strives to provide an academic ambience to its students along with the scope to relax after a hectic day of work.

Smt. Velagapudi Durgamba Siddhartha Law College (Vijayawada) has opened admission for its B.A. LL.B. (5-year) course for 2025. The application window was from 16 Nov - 19 Nov 2025. After seat allotment via AP LAWCET counselling (Phase-2 on 25 Nov 2025), selected candidates must complete self-reporting/college reporting and fee payment by 1 Dec 2025.
Candidates for admission into 3-year LL.B., Degree course must have passed any degree examination of AcharyaNagarjuna University/ Krishna University or 3 year degree examination of any other University recognized by the U G C, with 45% aggregate marks in group as well as in languages and must have qualified in the LAWCET held in every academic year usually in the month of June. In case of SC & ST candidates, 40 per cent aggregate is mandatory.
