Remarks
Opted for Computer Engg. because of my passion. Reason for joining Although the College is not good at all but i had low score in entrance exams and instead of going any other below average college in other city, this was the best choice as it's near my hometown, it's situated inside city. It comes under gokhale education society which is very old.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is given by SPPU. It is updated but not upto the mark. SPPU should improve their curriculum. I think there's no need of chemistry or mechanical basics subject in first year for a comp. Engg. Student. And the darkest reality of all these colleges you'll have to submit all those useless assignments. They have no meaning. Even the faculty doesn't look at them properly. Also, you'll have to have a good image in the faculty mind else the faculty will give trouble in accepting submissions and all. Academic is very poor here. Some students are good. But else are just learning everything. Too many students fail in the first year it self. Also this year(2019-20) there were 50% less admission than previous year. If someone is considering this college, PLEASE consider only if it's your last choice. If you have no choice then first make plan and then come. One will have to figure out his/her future development by his own. Some faculty here are good. Arun khalkar sir is very good here. has great knowledge.
Placement Experience
Some average companies visit here like tcs, infosys, godrej,etc. There's a campus placement drive held every year for placement. The interviews are taken on the college itself. Packages are pretty low. Around 60% students got placed
College Events
Events are okayish. Please don't expect any events here. Sometimes there are some events. There's a fest called resonance which is not that big as we expect in college. Students here are not that interesting. They are just learning what's written in the books. They just want to pass in those exams. College timing is 10 to 5 (first year) except Saturday and Wednesday. This college doesn't push students for extra curricular. Although some students are into it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mahadbt website has scholarship for students. I opted for it. Got 2500rs back. but the college fee is only 35000 which is half of the other colleges fee. The faculty and scholarship staff asks students to get the scholarship. There are some loan option but contact your particular bank for that .
Campus Life
Campus is very big with around 8-10 colleges. Wifi in the campus is very old. Library size is big enough to fit a class. Equipment are not that good. But working. Computers are not goof for high end programming stuff. Internet connection via cable is good around 100mbps.
