Remarks

Studies are not only the part of the life of a person. Overall development of the person should be focused. In my opinion the college should likely as a college and not like a jail, where students needs to work like a machine for 7-10 hours daily with only 30 minutes lunch break. The college is like a hell. Please don't take admission in this college because you will find any other good college other than this which focus on overall development of the person other than studies and you will also enjoy your college life too with studies.

Entrance Preview

I have passed 12th board exam as well as the admission is on the basis of IIT Jee Marks. But I have got direct admission in college by just IIT Jee marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum which is provided by RTU is been followed but this college used to organised the training from the very 1st year which actually is not necessary for the students until 3rd Year of the college. The very 1st month is focused purely on training and other left days the regular classes is being taken in which course is being completed.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided by the college but I don't have idea about the internship but as far I have heard college provides internships to some selected places only.

Placement Experience

1.5

Ridiculous, this college is not doing well and failed to provide what it actually displays among the world. I have seen posters of placements of many students but I actually don't now well about the placements because in this session of 2015-2016 only 4-6 students have been placed still now. No arrival of companies in the college has been noticed by anyone still now. Only CS/IT students are placed most from this college and no placements for other branches like Mechanical and Civil.

College Events

0.5

Not a single event is being celebrated in this college except TechJalsa which arrives only once in 2 years. No other festivals is being celebrated in this college except the enjoyment of burden of studies which is applied on students on daily basis. No holidays on bank holidays.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is approximately INR 70-90k per year and it may be increased in upcoming years. There are very less options when it comes to scholarships. The loans are definitely needed for financially poor students. Loans can be applied within college but there are some terms and conditions which should be carefully read.

Fees and Financial Aid

Different scholarship are offered by the college which is officially declared by government and nothing else is provided in this college.

Campus Life

1.5

Discrimination is to be faced by students every year. College make sections according to the percentage and students are treated and given marks according to the Section issued. If student was of A section then he will get best marks even if he doesn't perform well in Midterms and Practical exams. If you want to take admission in this college than please keep a bunch of written application in advance with you for the whole semester or say for the whole 4 years. Because this is not a college according to me but this is the hell which I haven't seen still now and the life was very awful and stressful in this college. If you are absent for one day you need to write application to the Director and even if you are 10-15 minutes late in the class then also you need to write application to the Director for allowing you in the class.Labs are in average condition for following branches. EC,EEE,CS and the labs of the Mechanical and Civil department are more than worst. No importance to extracurricular activities or we can say environment with no status of competitions such as Sports debates etc. No proper availability of the sports equipments. Robotics and Debates are held in Tech Jalsa which is organised by the college in every 2 years.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel is average with 2 students in each room which contains bed, cupboard and a table for every single person. The food of the mess was not appropriate for daily meal. Food is of poor quality and there are no other options for the hostelers to have any other food rather than this low standard food of the mess. No PG's available nearby though it is situated in industrial area very far from city around 15kms.

Alumni/Alumna

Experience with seniors is awesome with me. They were very good with there juniors and there are many seniors who helps a lot and comes with their innovative ides.

Exam Structure

The exam structure according to RTU was to take 2-Midterms in a year but this college takes 5-Midterms in 1-Semester. This college did what it likes and doesn't follow the rules which is decided by the RTU. Like other colleges which follows RTU I think this college don't want to follow RTU because they things that what they are doing is the best and nothing else is good for students. No reading time is given to the students before the exam as given by other colleges and no proper practical exams is being conducted every year as per the timetable issued by the University.

Faculty

1.5

In my opinion the faculty is purely the garbage. No experienced faculty is there in college and recently by some incidence happened and 6-7 CSE faculties have left the college who have great teaching experience as well as some are industry experienced faculty. Now the arrival of new faculties are those who have been passed out from this college without any teaching knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
