Course Curriculum Overview

1. Syllabus is appropriate. 2. The completion of the semester and the examinations fluctuate. 3. Good exposure to reading and library to personal study space. 4. Less exposure to practical knowledge. 5. Internships can add experience , if done with interest and sincerity. 6. Large amount of fests , legal platforms, competitions etc to stage skills. 7. Good faculty, effecient and wise faculty to be true , who have high experience in their subjects. 8. Some of the senior faculties like our present Principal Dr. Bijukumar sir ; are all highly experienced and profeesionals.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

So far we did in an NGO , and government office to gain knowledge on basics and working space. It provided us with no stipend since we were during the first yeas of our course .

1. Politically influenced 2. Union and prevailing elections every year. 3. KU holds Kalotsavam every year. 4. Law fests , moots , trial advocacy held respectively over period of time. 5. High participation level in national levels in moots and othet legal programmes.

1. Many online scholarships are open. 2. NSP 3. Matriculation related. 4. Hostel allowance for OBC and below castes. 5. The college does not provide any loan to students, since it admits only the first 100 for admission under merit . 6. All government related scholarships can be applied for.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. 4.storeyed building 2 people in a room. Given wrt the distance of non day scholar students. Clean and cool ambience , clean and well kept floors and toilets, A medium sized mess hall and terrace . The rent varies every month from Rs. 2500

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.

It is the only government law college in kerala that provides BA LLB course. Other government colleges only provides BBA LLB AND BCOM LLB. I was interested in BA LLB. Government law College Thiruvananthapuram. The place you will learn law and life.

I got admissions in Kerala law academy Thiruvananthapuram and SDM law College manglore. I personally like a government law college more than the above mentioned colleges because of the Liberty and the campus life they provide unlike SDM law College which is strict government law college will be a Heaven for anyone who want to explore campus life. While in Kerala academy the fee is high as well as the management is known to be worst. The admission process for Government law College Thiruvananthapuram is through Kerala law entrance examination conducted each year by the state government.
