Remarks
I wanted to go to a college that is near my house( at least I can see them once a week). So I didn't want to go to far away places. So I decided here. Also, our college is so good in ambience. Teachers are well experienced.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college syllabus is based on OBE pattern. We had proper exams pattern also. The faculties are so good in knowledge and friendly too. We have been taken to industries a lot of times. And we are also exposed to NSS and NCC. The syllabus gets updated every now and then.
Placement Experience
Many good companies visit our college. Tire 2 and tire 3 companies are lot. Companies like infosys, tcs visit our college. The placement process is simple. We get to write exams, and then interviews. The procedures starts at the mid of the final year. We have no restrictions to attend. Except from the companies' requirements.
College Events
It was awesome. Apart from studies, we have PEACE function, annual day, sports days too. Also many technical seminars, workshops will be conducted often. We also celebrate samathuva pongal. And department symposiums are so grand.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships available in our college. Of which, I know about the first graduate scholarship and the sports scholarship. I have no idea about the loan facility. The first graduate scholarship is given for those students who are the first to come to college in their families. To avail that, they have to submit few documents. Also, we get scholarships based on our merits too.
Campus Life
We have separate block for computational sciences like computer and electronics. Architecture has separate block. And educational sciences have separate block. We have two canteens. And a separate full block for technology business incubator for entrepreneurs. We also have free Wi-Fi available all over the campus and hostel. There is one stadium with proper facilities. And an exclusive block for library with variety of books. We have computer labs with proper connection and AC. Also physics and chemistry labs too. Even for mechanical, aerospace departments workshops are available.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel ambience is good. There are free Wi-Fi facilities available. Tutors also visit in the evening for clearing doubts. There is separate mess for boys and girls. There are 3 hostels for girls and one for boys. Also, gym facilities is available. Hostel rooms have in built bathrooms which is a great point. Each girls hostel rooms have sharing of 4 separate beds. Single rooms available too. The hostel is big enough to accommodate many students at once.
