Student's Review On Indus Institute Of Technology & Engineering - [IITE], Ahmedabad

It is a private college which is not affiliated with GTU. So it choses how to operate by itself, because the rules of gtu are not that good that's why I chose this private university. Also, the staff and faculty members are quiet good at teaching I have these reviews from my cousin who is 2 years older and is in the same university. So he recommended me to go for Indus University (IITE).

The syllabus taught to us is quiet basic, so I think it should be re-evaluated because student are not getting industry ready education directly after graduating from this university. Teaching methods are appropriate. Faculties are very good but they are not fluent in English, they do their job well.

Indus University has an independent vertical ‰ÛÒ Training & Placement Department (T & P Dept.) ‰ÛÒ that plays the pivotal role of connecting two important ends, vis-ÌÊ-vis, school and industry. It establishes a bridge between schools and constituent institutions of the University (input-end at the entry level) and Industry (output-end at the finishing level).

Campus life is ok there is a big ground for sports, our annual fest Instincts is conducted every year in feb\march. Also there are many activities such as coding competition, debate, seminars, etc conducted every month. Fest conducted in iur college has participation of around 700-800 students also students come from other colleges.

College infrastructure is average we have just two buildings main (office) and other Bhanvar building where we have our classes the classroom's are clean, good chairs, overall classroom review is good. But we dont have enough campus space as other universities.
