Remarks
Dr. Patel College of ABM is the oldest college for this course. The faculty is qualified in their respective subjects. It has a beautiful campus and good exposure for students. College lacks a agriculture field in its vicinity and there is no separate building in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has a wide scope, students can apply for jobs, can start their own business, apply for competitive examinations, prepare for masters, etc. The faculty is well qualified and helps the students in their studies, student to faculty ratio is good. Modern teaching methods are used wherever possible, labs have modern equipment. Term examinations are strict and regular completion of practical's help in practical exams.
Internships Opportunities
College provides very good internship opportunities. On campus internships for students are well managed by the placement cell. Off campus internships are also encouraged. Students bag an internship in various agricultural firms ranging from wineries to chocolate factories, etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements in the last year. They have to undertake a compulsory internship. A few students apply for placements, they usually opt for higher education and govt exams. I'm going to pursue a MBA in my course
Fees and Financial Aid
People can avail govt schemes and scholarships. Students from different quotas get fee benefits
Campus Life
Annual fests, cultural events, study programs, etc. happen each year. The college has an open air auditorium and there a number of events throughout the year. Sports is encouraged by the facility, a number of students play for the university, state and at national level. The students run a magazine for our college.
