It's a good college with good infrastructure and compare other engineering colleges it's better worth

I took ECE because am interested in electronic and faculty of college are wish and wise

Really placement were good many companies are conduct interviews ..if u have below 1 arrear u can attend any interview

If u are from counselling your fee will be 70000 .for financial assistance it's 1lakh

Campus Life

Its really fun when compared other college and not that much strict if you involvement you can have sports

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not much good only veg no non veg I stayed 1 year .then I took room near my college in poonamalle

No group discussion were conducted before joining.no written test too .only 12th and 10th marksheet is required

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
