Parents got me into this college, although I was not interested and it’s quite strict college unlike others

When I showed up here for admission they told will got your student 100% placement than other college, which I don’t know let’s wait and see

Fees is little bit higher as compared other college, Also during this pandemic time it’s cruel to fix the same amount

Campus Life

Campus life and students ,friends which I got from here are really nice. It was the only better thing happened to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
