Remarks

The college is located in the city and when compared to other colleges fess structure is quite low. It is easy to commucate since the college is located in main area Kodambakkam. It has a excellent reputation. The college is known for its discipline so most parents like their kiddos to join this college

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was good but after joining pg I felt that some more programming course should have been included(which they have included in syllabus now). The faculties in my department were very friendly and approachable. From the 2nd year our syllabus included some optional papers like SAR and GK which was useful in cracking aptitude and also in govt exams

Placement Experience

2

The placement opportunities are available but very less companies are called. If u have a good aptitude skill you can definitely get placed in one or the other. Taechers have contact with aluminis and even some companies have come based on their approch. But as far as I have seen the placements I was not satisfied with the placements.

College Events

1

Campus Life can be good only if you have a wonderful group of friends. Without friends college life will be very boring. We have to clean our classrooms ourself and each department is assigned a specific area to clean in the campus and this happens every Monday:(. There are not much opportunities to extra curricular activities and the events and culturals which happen will be so boring.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholorship are provided some based on the caste and some on income. This was very helpful to most of the students. You can get upto 10000 per year which will cover the course fees and it is applicable for all caste. Other than this every year some amount is given to 2 students in each department who are selected by staffs.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is very poor. There is no college wifi and mobile's are not allowed. Dogs can be found everywhere in the campus. The library is good. Most of the classrooms are poorly airiated and even the auditoriums. Sports is not given much importance. There is no college sports team like that.

Placement Experience:

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
