Engineering must be better

Recently college management made the security tight insecure for us. It is good thing but this type of decisions must be implemented at the starting of academic year. Anyways a good decision,Appreciated would be better to lay the roads properly for the transportation.

I joined in B.Tech by qualifying ECET entrance examination which is for diploma students. I got a rank 1417, which is not good in that but it is good to get a seat. I opted for good colleges in Visakhapatnam based on Education campus recruitments faculty. Luckily I got selected in that kind of college.

My college is accredited with NBA and it is running under the JNTU(kakinada) university of course these doesn't give any assurance that my college is good in all. But in my college all standards are more than satisfied.

I had gone through 2 weeks internship in Vizag Steel Plant Visakhapatnam. It really helped me a lot in my educational career. I learned a lot about electronics which are used in industrial applications. There is no stipend or something but we are more happy that we learned some new things.

Coming to the placements, we are a bit less happy here because till now 4-1semester only four companies had visited. Infosys(3.2lacs/P.A),Tech Mahindra(2.8lacs/P.A), Prolifics(2.5lacs/p.a approx),Polaris(3.5lacs/P.A) in the list. Totally 200 students are selected but I am not on the count. Management given instructions that soon more are visiting. TCS,IBM and few others on the list. I am wishing further on that list.

A good college must have good academics and culturals. My college won't be an exemption. Every year Fresher's party will be celebrated for the New joining students. Farewell party for seniors who are releaving that year. All events are managed by the students and with help of faculty. Every time we get fun and joy with these events.Vignan YUVTARANG celebrated for every two years. In this year I actively participated. It lasted for two days and we enjoyed a lot with powerful speeches and rocking performances. Loksatta party(A.p) chief leader,Jayapraksh Naryan is our chief guest in that event. He given good speech about today's youth.

Way better compare to other colleges residing in Visakhapatnam. Total tution fee is 56000 per year, Building fund 11000,university fee 3000. In total 80k would have to pay for engineering students.

Government providing us scholarships and reimbursements for low economic background students. Loans are accepted for some students with their parents incomes.

Campus is good. If we are interested in something then the management gives thumb's up to encourage. There is no gender issues and no other bad hesitations. If we have keen on something definitely we are appreciated and gets enough support for good things.

I never joined in college hostel but my friends are in college hostel. They shared some things about facilities in hostel. 50000 per year to stay in the hostel accommodation. There are hostels for girls and boys. Rooms are neatly arranged and good in condition. But food is a problem here menu will be routine for weeks.

It's like tossing a coin. Coming to the exams they are strictly done without no problems. But college faculty gives more assignments to us when the exams will be scheduled. This would be hectic. Lab equipment and instructors are good enough for well doing experiments. Every week lab practicals are done.

Faculty also very helpful in every aspect from studies to cultural activities.
