Truthfully The American College

The only reason for joining this college was because of my parents because they wanted me to do my undergraduate in my hometown. I even had an option for choosing Thiyagarajar College of Arts and Science but comparing both The American College was better in the sense of giving freedom. Also, I'm proud that the college which I'm studying is about 140 years old.

I chose BBA as I wanted to do BBA, honestly speaking I love to do business, so I decided to do BBA. The faculty in my department are so cool and chill type, they convey their message about the subject as easy as possible. Most of my staff are Ph.D. qualified. We, students, attend the internal exams twice in a semester that is 2 internals and 1-semester examinations in 6 months.

The only disappointing factor in this college is that there is no campus interview. But on the other hand, as it is an art and science college most of the students prefer to do their post-graduation. So campus placement might not be a big problem. If at all students prefer to go for a job, the faculty is so good and friendly and help them to get to know about vacancies and interviews.

I guess the fee which is collected in my college is worth it. The fee amount is correct in terms of education. The college management helps to provide financial assistance for those who prefer the transfer program, which is doing 2 years study here and the rest of it in other foreign universities.

In our college each and every department conduct their own cultural events every year. Many colleges are invited to take part in the events. Mostly the cultural events are conducted in the even semesters, which is in the months of August to November. We have rotract club , nss , ncc and SSC which is run by our own students.
