Remarks

i was lured by the beautiful college campus. Excluding this factor, the fee structure being lesser than other private colleges of Bhubaneswar drove me here. The placement is also higher than other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are somewhat friendly and co-operative, obviously not everyone is the same. But regarding the online classes, exams and summer internship, the college forced the students to arrange for the systems without paying any heed to the problems faced by them.

Placement Experience

Most of the eligible students generally get placed in the MNCs. Over 20% of the eligible candidates got a package of above 4LPA whereas two students of IT department of 2016-20 batch got placed in Amazon at a package of 13.5 LPA. Major recruiters are- TCS, Infosys, IBM, SAP labs, etc.

College Events

The fest is held in February and is organized by the silicon students' council and supervised by the authority. The cultural fest is held in the afternoon whereas the technical fest is held in the daytime. This year we had redbull as our sponsor. We also had the odia rapper, BIGDEAL amongst us.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
