Actually i tried for veterinary sciences before that 2-3 times but due to inappropriate rank i didn't make it. In 2016, i got a good rank but that year the counselling got cancelled suddenly. So in 2017 i applied again but i got a not too good rank but then decided to attend the general counselling for other courses. I just found Fisheries Science suitable for me after Veterinary science so decided to opt for that. C.S.Azad University, Kanpur was the only name which came in my mind when it comes to take admission to a degree programme so i opted for the same. Also the seats for the course was only available there at that time. In agriculture science education our university has a well-known image. It was pioneer institution during the green revolution also. If i talk about the etawah campus, it is actually mismanaged in terms of every aspect related to education. But i think in near future all the lackings will be checked on. Overall it is an OK experience to be there during academics.

The course syllabus for fisheries science had been provided by the college on the very first day and it was according to the latest 5th dean's committee. In terms of industrial exposure/field visits our college showed a poor performance. Students never got a chance to have suitable practical know-how about their respective courses. Faculties till now are not eligible to teach in a degree programme, college is managed by guest faculties some of which are non-fishery individuals. Due to this students are unable to get proper knowledge of their subjects.

Our college has a satisfactory placement record. Few well-known companies (e.g. Amul, Mother Dairy, Dayal Group etc.) visited our campus and a good number of students have been appointed by them past years.

There are certain extracurricular activities which have been performed in the college campus every year. Students participate actively and voluntarily in them on regular basis. Festivals have been celebrated by the students jointly inside the campus. All the arrangements have also been done by the students with the support and permission of the authorities.

Our college campus is a huge one. All colleges are at a good but accessible distance from the student hostels. But our college don't have appropriate labs and lab equipments which is a great lack. For sports we have a good ground there, and all the sports equipments are available. Wi-fi is available 24/7 inside the campus. Our college library is well-built and is very spacious. Students get a good environment for study purpose there. But the library somehow have a lack of good books for respective courses.

Talking about hostel facilities, i would like to say that hostels are the worst thing there. The buildings have not been renovated since years. Student accommodation is single and sharing both type. Each student has to pay same charges for the accommodation. There is also electricity and power backup issue in the campus which makes it hard to deal with during examinations. Sanitation and cleanliness facilities are so poor in hostels. There is no facility for drinking water/ water purifier/ water cooler for students in any of the hostel.
