Remarks

I was shortlisted for 2 colleges, and I had Electronics and instrumentation course in this college and not in the other one, thus I chose this college. I am intrested in automation engineering thus I opted this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a good choice in this modern world it is much needed. The curriculum is updated once in 5 years. Anna university is responsible for curriculum changes. We have industrial visits one or twice per year.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

there are more than 15 companies which visit our campus, TCS is a bulk recruiting one, but getting a job in core like companies like honey well, yokogowa and other similar companies are difficult.

College Events

We can participate in various clubs like roadtract, NATIONAL CADET CORPS, NSS, IEEE, proud etc. There is a cultural in the freshman year called swagath, then there is department culturals and symposium, and inter departmental too which occurs once a year

Campus Life

No wifi, library is good. College does not encourage sports very well as they focus on academics more. It is hard to get on duty pass. There are two canteen. We have 3 different college inside campus thus it will be crowded.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus interview. No companies were visited due to corona. Average package is 2 to 3 lakhs per annum. 20 to 30% students get placement. Definitely went to the job for improving my knowledge.

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.

My take on Easwari Engineering College

I had only applied to Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College, Perambalur, but I cancelled the seat beacuse the staff there did not seem very friendly and the campus looked quite old. I chose Easwari Engineering Colleg because of its good placement oppurtunites and the friendly relationship between staff and students. The admission process here is fairly simple. The eligibility varies for each course, for Automobile Engineering the minimum requirement was 55% in 12th standard. Admission can be taken either through management quota or through TNEA counselling based on cutoff marks.
