Remarks

The main reason i choose SRM University, Amaravati is because of the collaboration that the university have with MIT USA. It attracted me the most to join the institute. The University also has a semester abroad program with top universities like UC Berkeley and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. I am going to say my experience during my 1st semester since for my 2nd semester there is COVID 19 breakdown. During our 1st semester we do have two subjects(Python, Communicative English) in a platform called Minerva, which is a interactive platform. The weird thing is we have Biology during our 1st semester in CSE, which is uncommon.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

We are the third batch of the university. There were no pass outs from our university. The first pass out will be next year. We are expecting a good placement and also there is a placement cell in the university. Also, there is a semester abroad program from the 3rd semester.

College Events

There are several events and festivals in the campus during our 1st semester. We do have many events every alternate week in the University. One of the biggest fest is sport fest, in which many local universities and colleges participated which is for 3 days.

Campus Life

Since it was newly established campus in Amaravati. It would take some time for the full infrastructure. We do have 24/7 WiFi in the campus also in the hostels. The speed was excellent. I can't say library is too big, but is quite enough. Labs are well equipped.

I applied to Gitam University and I got into it but compared to SRM University,AP it is no match the course cirriculum and infrastructed and even faculty every aspect is not as good as SRM. To get admission in SRM one shoulf have minimum of 60% marks in their intermediate board and they should secure a rank in SRMJEE examination which the University will conduct itself.I suggest to just attempt the SRMJEE examination so that they can get into the university easily...Read More

I applied for GITAM Vizag and KLU vijayawada and from both I got the acceptence letter. But after carefull consideration, I choose this college because of its strong academic reputation, industry connections, and curriculum that aligns with my future goals. The campus infrastructure and opportunities for hands on learning, internships, and research which played a important role in my decision. One of the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh

I took the Eamcet exam and got a rank of 3047 and the cutoff was 4600 for the general category but I think the sc category goes up to 64k or something. The admission process was smooth and had no problem whatsoever. There are 3 srmjee slots and everyone comes under the same category irrespective of their rank in the SRMjee if they qualify except the first 20 students or 100 students....Read More
