Remarks

This college is below to SRM groups which was located in the center of the Chennai city. So they bring more MNC companies for our placement. Last year, they became a Autonomous institution which was affiliated by Anna University

Course Curriculum Overview

Since it became Autonomous, many changes were done in the syllabus. The outdated syllabus are omitted. The dual course method, placement & training classes, events & I. V are conducted to enhance our knowledge.

College Events

Cultural & management festivals will be average only. Sometimes, it will be disappointing while compare to SRM university events. Because, within the same campus the SRM deemed university will spend more amount for their events.

The campus infrastructure will be good. Laboratory & library will be fine. But, there will be no cricket or football ground in our campus. Indoor games, basketball, volleyball and batminton can be played in the campus.

Best things about my college life

Placement Experience:

From their 5 th semester students become eligible for campus placements untill that the faculties will give them training every 2 hrs per week including quantitative and soft skills. They connected more than 100 companies like wipro, Infosys, etc. Tje highest package would be 3LPA and lowest would be 1LPA. More than 60 %of students get placed in diff companies. And my plan after getting the degree is entrepreneurship.

Placement Experience:

The college provides four tracks for students: the placement track, higher studies track, entrepreneur track and the government exam track. Students can opt for any one track during their third year of study. The campus placements starts from the mid of third year. Mnc's like Accenture, cognizant visited our company the ratio is also good. Lot of startup's and core companies have also hired students.

My genuine review of SNS College Of Technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5 th semester ,however they are not allowed to join companies before completing the current course. Many companies have visited like(CTS, Accenture, Soti, cart rabbit , course 5i and many more) in my batch out of 800+ students around 200 - 250 got placed . The highest pacakge is 13.5 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA - 6LPA. College say its 100 percent placement but nowadays its not true because about 20-25 percent students are bot placed because of skill issues. My plan is to get placed in a good company and save some decent amount and start trading.
