Remarks

I felt the instinct of SMS Institute of Technology as a proper university because as I see my needs will be definitely fulfilled by SMS Institute of Technology so my goals as well and during my visit to the campus, the environment out here really attracted me.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had many industrial visits and exhibitions as well during our second sem whre we acquired a lot more about our subjects and syllabus, guest lecturers would visit our campus for conducting seminars .

Course Fees: INR 361000 per year

Placement Experience

We are offered 6 to 8 weeks of summer internship by college with stipend, and the placement is also outstanding, companies like TVS, HCL, Coca cola, pepsico, oyo, BHEL visits our campus for offering job roles.

College Events

We usually have three clubs in our college namely chintan club which was for debates, presentation, story writing and essay writing, Aks Club for Capture the city, Digital Photo, Photography Competition and the last is Raag club for dance and music.

Campus Life

SMS Institute of Technology offers its students the opportunity to participate in annual sports day where other colleges are invited for matches apart from this we also have a hostel within the campus along with transportation facility.

Admission

Admission for B.Tech is done through the UPSEE examinations conducted by Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.I appeared for the entrance exam and based on my marks i was offered this curriculum.

So, if you are looking for a university where placement records are good, Sanskriti University is the one. The highest package is 54 Lakhs per annum, and the average is around 6.20 Lakhs per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. Placement Experience:

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO
