Course Curriculum Overview :

The college follows the updated curriculum and helps the students in knowing the updated trends of the market in the field of travel and tourism. The college conducts the examination for all the subjects related to commerce with the specialisation in travel and tourism yearly. The subjects include Banking, Business studies, Accounting, Fundamentals of tourism, Marketing Operations, Travel and Tourism infrastructure.

Placement Experience :

The college provides great placement opportunities. Different companies appoint the women from the colleges by taking the interviews. Top companies visit the college and college also takes interest in making the students' interview cleared.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for B.Com in travel and tourism is Rs. 11250 per semester. It is very feasible and really worth paying it at this college as the education they provide is of high quality and brings an impressible change in tour knowledge as well as develop your interpersonal skills.

Campus Life :

The college has NSS, NCC, sports and the students of the college take part in National as well as International sports competitions. The college has won various awards under NSS unit. The college is well maintained and has a library, labs, Audio visual recording studio computer Centre and the hostel facility. All these facilities are required and conducive to the holistic development of the students.

Admission :

The college follows the online admission process. Since this college comes under Mahatma Gandhi University, the admission process takes place online and the online form is submitted through UG- CAP( Central Allotment Process) facility at MG University. The seats under quota are also available like under sports quota, cultural quota and Physically Disabled quota.

Faculty :

The college has a well educated, highly professional and experienced faculty. The professors are always ready to help the students. They use both the white boards and projectors to teach so that all the students understand the concepts easily. We had never faced any shortage of faculty in the college.

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
