Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of this college is very good and practice-oriented. The practical sessions of this course are very much interesting and help the students to grow their practical skills and approach.

Placement Experience

This college offers tremendous job opportunities to the talented students of this college. Every year esteemed organizations visit this campus to offer highly paid jobs to the students. This college also provides internships to various students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the course of M.Sc is quite feasible. I pay about Rs.7,000 per year for the course of M.Sc. This college offers a great number of facilities to the students in this low amount of fees.

Campus Life

This college organizes various extracurricular activities to the students every year. Sports events, workshops, seminars, cultural fests, and many other events are a great part of this college. These activities made me a better person.

Life in HIMT

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

This is the best college overall

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Remarks:

I got this college through Mci. The campus was beautiful also after asking to the students over there I got to know that the whole course will be in English so no issue of language in teaching and also the teachers are friendly and supporting and there is no ragging in the campus.
