In this institute, I learned how diamonds and gemstones formed and what makes them so rare. I learned the history of diamonds, and what they're used for in various industries. I learned how to grade diamonds for clarity, color cut and carat weight. I learned here how to measure for diamond table percentages, crown angles and overall proportions. Having the certificate, gave me confidence to talk about it and explain to the customers and that giving me confidence to close a lot of sale when it comes to selling.

It is a 5 days diploma course in gemology. The course deals with natural and artificial gemstones. The course includes learning on how to identify the natural gem, diamond, stones, asteroids etc. It also involves trainings and practicals on real gemstones or diamonds. It is the right career path for students who are passionate about jewellery & diamonds.

Our institute provides many placement opportunities in the field of jewellery designing, diamond garding and as a gemologist. Many recuriting companies like Diani Jewels, GS Gem Scan laboratories, Diamonte Jewels etc offer jobs to pass out students. The average package offered to students is 2 to 3 LPA.

The fee structure is highly expensive as this course provides lots of practicals and training with real diamonds and gemstones. The fee structure is near about 2.77 lakhs which is immoderate for 5 days diploma.

As its a fast track 5 days diploma. The college not entertained students by organising any events and extracurricular activities. Guest lectures, research activities, audio-visual programmes are organised by institute.

I choose this course because the career of a gemologist has emerged as very attractive and satisfying field. I got selected for this course on the basis of merit list which was based on percentage in intermediate exams.

Faculty members in Gemological Institute are well trained and higly experienced. They all have nice personality with perfect communication skills. Methods they used to traine students are so easy and understandable. They all help students by giving some extra time for training. All faculties are so good.
